CLUBHOUSE DRESS RULES

All members, guests and visitors to the Southwick Park Golf Club are required to wear ‘suitable attire' in the clubhouse.

The management and staff have authority to enforce the dress code at all times.

‘Suitable attire' is considered to be the normally accepted minimum standards of dress in a private members club, i.e., clean, well pressed and in a good state of repair.

Jeans are acceptable, however they are not to be of the ripped denim variety. Clothing or tee shirts with slogans that may be offensive to others are not permitted.

Tailored shorts may be worn in the clubhouse except on the occasion when an organised club function is to take place. When there is an organised function taking place entry to the clubhouse is not permitted after 19:30 for those wearing shorts.

Suitable footwear must be worn at all times. Wellingtons, golf shoes, trainers and other footwear worn on the golf course or for country walks are not to be worn in the clubhouse.

Service uniform can be worn in the clubhouse.

On occasions when more formal, or more relaxed attire is required, members will be informed prior to the event.

Individuals not observing the above rules will be invited to leave the premises.

Members shall at all times be responsible for their guests.
GOLF COURSE DRESS RULES
SHIRTS

Men's shirts must have collars and sleeves.

Ladies shirts/blouses may be collarless and/or sleeveless.

FOOTBALL/RUGBY SHIRTS ARE NOT TO BE WORN.
TROUSERS/SHORTS/SKIRTS

Jeans or denim shorts/skirts are not to be worn.

3/4 length shorts may be worn but cannot have tassles or be camoflaged. They must be of a single colour or of a check pattern. Beach shorts are not allowed.

Track suits/shell suits, jogging bottoms are not to be worn.
SOCKS

Socks must be worn at all times and can be shoe, ankle or knee length.
FOOTWEAR

Trainers or shoes without a heel are acceptable.

Shoes worn on the golf course must not be worn in the clubhouse.
